Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Becomes More Affordable After GST Price Drop

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has now become even more affordable with the new GST pricing. Earlier its price seemed a bit high, but now it has emerged as an excellent value-for-money bike in the 125cc segment. This bike is especially for those riders who want sporty looks, strong performance, and a budget-friendly option.

Price & Variants

Earlier the top variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 was available in Kanpur for around ₹ 108,000 ex-showroom and ₹ 132,300 on-road. But now after GST pricing, its ex-showroom price is around ₹ 99,000 to ₹ 1 lakh, and the on-road price has also come down by the same amount. This bike comes in three variants, in which the base variant gets a halogen headlamp, while the top variant includes an LED setup and advanced features.

Exterior Design

In terms of design, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has been designed on the naked sports theme. The front has a muscular headlamp setup with integrated DRLs with high and low beam LEDs. The bulky fuel tank and 125cc stickering on the side profile give it an even sportier look. The rear is in a slick and sharp design with an LED taillight, a high-mounted tail, and a tire hugger. The split seat and grab rail give it a youth-friendly appeal.

Suspension & Brakes

The Pulsar NS125 has a 35 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and a Nitrox gas-charged monoshock at the rear, which is 5-way adjustable. This provides very good riding comfort. For braking, there is a 240 mm disc brake and single-channel ABS at the front, while the rear gets a 130 mm drum brake with RLP (Rear Wheel Lift-off Protection) technology. Tire gripping is also quite good—front 90/90-17 and rear 120/80-17 with tubeless tires.

Engine & Performance

This bike has a 124.45 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, air-cooled engine that generates 11.8 bhp of power at 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. It gets a 5-speed gearbox. In comparison, it has more power than the Honda CB 125 Shine, making it better for performance-oriented riders.

Features & Technology

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 gets a fully digital LCD instrument cluster that shows information like speedometer, tachometer, gear indicator, trip meter, and distance-to-empty. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and a basic call pick/cut feature. Clip-on handlebars, a pass switch, and smart connect stickers have also been provided to make the riding experience more advanced.

Mileage & Fuel Efficiency

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 gives an average of around 45–50 kmpl. It includes E20 fuel compatibility and an OBD-2B sensor, making it a future-ready bike according to the upcoming regulations. With a 12-liter fuel tank, it is also a great option for long rides.

Conclusion

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is a bike that balances style, performance, and practicality in the 125cc segment. Whether it is city traffic or highway riding, this bike gives a fun experience everywhere. If you are looking for a budget-friendly sporty bike, then the Pulsar NS 125 can prove to be a smart choice.
